Davi Cavicchioli Q&A
We recently caught up with Woodside’s Estate & Community Manager, Davi Cavicchioli to understand what his role entails and what his first impressions have been working at the estate.
Hi and welcome! What can you tell us about yourself?
I hold a BA (Hons) in International Business from the University of Westminster and an MBA from the University of Sao Paulo, alongside industry qualifications that support my professional practice, including being an Associate of The Property Institute (ATPI), a Certified Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CERT CII), and a Member of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (MIWFM).
Outside of work, I’m passionate about Roman history, which inspires my travels to historic sites across Europe and beyond. I enjoy walking and discovering new landscapes, staying curious about emerging technologies, especially AI, and I find real joy in cooking for family and friends as a way to relax and connect.
What does your job entail?
No two days are ever the same at Woodside. I manage the day-to-day operations of the estate, acting as the main point of contact for occupiers, contractors, local authorities, and external agencies. My role is both strategic and hands-on, from ensuring safety and compliance to building strong tenant relationships, resolving issues, and coordinating with service providers to keep the estate running smoothly.
Whether meeting contractors onsite, liaising with councils or the police, or supporting occupiers directly, I provide advice and solutions using the resources and networks available to me. I also carry out inspections to identify issues such as defects and ensure they are swiftly addressed by the relevant teams. Above all, my focus is on maintaining a safe, efficient, and collaborative environment that helps businesses at Woodside thrive.
What value does your job bring to occupier businesses and their staff?
I provide occupiers with a dedicated on-site presence, someone who understands their challenges and can act quickly to resolve issues. Whether it’s ensuring statutory compliance, coordinating contractors, or simply being a trusted point of contact, I’m here to make the estate a safe, efficient, and supportive environment for businesses and their teams.
What were your first impressions when you joined the team?
From the outset, I was struck by the strong sense of community at Woodside. I’ve enjoyed building trust with occupiers, and I value the openness with which many share insights into their businesses. Knowing that tenants feel comfortable turning to me, and that I can help them resolve issues, is a real highlight of the role.
In your view, what makes Woodside Industrial Estate special?
Woodside is home to a diverse mix of businesses, from long-established companies to innovative new ventures, creating both stability and dynamism within the community. The estate is well maintained, secure, and welcoming, providing an environment that encourages growth and collaboration.
Its strategic location is a major advantage for businesses. Just 5 minutes from the M1, 10 minutes from a mainline railway station, and 15 minutes from London Luton Airport, Woodside offers seamless connectivity for domestic and international travel. Nearby motorways and the airport enable efficient access by road and air to Europe and beyond, while excellent rail links ensure easy commuting and connectivity to major UK cities.
This combination of a strong business community, exceptional transport links, and a professionally managed estate makes Woodside not only a convenient base but a competitive advantage for occupiers looking to thrive in a well-connected, future-ready location.
What do you wish all occupiers knew about the estate?
I’d encourage all occupiers to use the Vizta Portal, which provides a direct channel for logging issues, sharing feedback, and staying updated on estate matters. While I understand many businesses are incredibly busy, it’s a powerful tool for communication and helps us keep improving estate services.
Finally, how and when can occupiers contact you?
I’m always available to occupiers. Tenants can reach me by email, phone, or through the Vizta Portal. My goal is to remain accessible and responsive, ensuring any queries or concerns are addressed quickly and effectively.
